Malaysia's first Integrated Covid-19 Testing Platform
COVID19-MY Screening is centralised system that allows Malaysian employers, foreign & domestic employees and individuals to register for a mandatory COVID-19 screening prior to the resumption of their work duties. All screenings will be conducted using reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests. All services are currently only available to SOCSO contributors.
In order to administer these tests, users can choose to be screened on-site (at a specified location), at a clinic or in the comfort of their own homes.
Our Value Proposition
To get started, individuals are required to create an account on the COVID19-MY Screening website. Once an account is created, users can buy a test for themselves and schedule a test appointment. After completing the screening test, users will be asked to install the COVID19-MY mobile app. They will be notified of their test results (and their assigned ‘Health Status’) through both the COVID19-MY mobile app and the COVID19-MY Screening system. The COVID19-MY mobile app will allow users to show their ‘Health Status’ to relevant authorities when travelling to and from office premises. Upon being diagnosed as ‘Healthy’, all users will also be issued a downloadable eCertificate.
For Medical Providers
Clinic representatives will conduct COVID-19 screening tests for all registered users at the test location(s) selected. Prior to undergoing the screening test, each user will be prompted to fill up a consent form and answer a COVID-19 questionnaire. All collected samples will be sent to MOH accredited laboratories for analysis.
Similarly, employers are also required to create an account on the COVID19-MY Screening website. Once an account is created, employers can buy tests for their employees by filling up a simple form for each employee. From here, employers are required to submit payment for all tests, and to confirm all appointments with clinic representatives. After all testing has been completed, employers can use the QR code scanning features in the COVID19-MY mobile app to assess employee risk-levels when they return to work.
For Public Sector Authorities
Enforcement agencies like Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) will be able to verify each employee’s ‘Health Status’ using the COVID19-MY mobile app at roadblocks and/or building entrances. Immigration Malaysia will be able to use assigned eCertificates to verify a foreign worker’s ‘Health Status’ during the work permit renewal application process. The Ministry of Health (MOH) will be able to view real-time COVID-19 test result updates through the Analytics Dashboard.
